A European style Ale with a “KICK”. Light-bodied, but velvety in texture. Pilsen, Cara-Munich and Belgian malts, combined with European Noble hops.

Slight haze on the orange-colored brew with plenty of foam in the Belle-Vue Gueuze glass. Smell is oxidized apple juice and wet cardboard. Quite spritzy on the tongue with a thickish mouthfeel. Rather acidic with a persistent musty and pumpkin taste. Finishes with old apple juice. At first sip I thought it was bacterial, but no, it seems to be legitimate flavors. However I can't quite fathom why people would make something that tastes like this, and then go to the trouble of bottling and distributing it? From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Special Brews in Lynnwood. Who could resist?
