A: Poured a hazy copper-brownish color with a small dirty whit cap and a bit of spotty lacing
S: The nose was sweet and faint. A little bit of brown sugar, caramel and hint at syrup
T: It tasted somewhat similar to the dang barleywine to a degree but the body was a bit fuller. The flavor profile was rather simple. Sweetness through caramel, syrup, brown sugar. The finish has a bit of a lingering bitter/twan thing goin on. Dry on the finish and simple yet uninspiring
M: Full body, low to low-medium carbonation, a bit sweet on the mouthfeel, coating and persistent
O: A pint, to much, not really bad but boring and simple. The linger on the end and the common notes from this beer reminded me of every beer frm Port Townsed butat least this one had moe body

Served in straight pint glass. Poured a lightly cloudy brown-mahogany color with a half-inch of tan head that had good retention and good lacing.
The aroma was mostly malty sweet, no really notable hops, spice or yeast, and had a bit of an alcohol note the scent. On the tongue, the malt was still dominant, but there was just enough of a hop tang to provide good balance. The alcohol that was noted in the scent wasn't as apparent in the taste.
The body was very good, full, smooth, and even, with a clean finish. Drinkability was very good, it would be perfect for a cold, wet, rainy PNW day. Overall, a very nice take on the style. A must try if you see it.
