draft at the Dray - listed as an IRA - india red ale? imperial red ale? something like that
a: served up in a standard pint glass, this ale is a gorgeous, deep reddish-amber in color, and comes coated in a thick off-white head with good retention
s: full red malts on the nose, dark fruits, toffee and caramel, pine hops, dig the deep malt sugars and resinous hop counter
m: carbonation is moderate, and the body towards the heavier end of medium, nicely weighted
t: tastes of rich, sweet toffee, caramelized red malt flavours, bread, sappy pine hops bring a touch of balance and nice bitterness to the finish, delicious
o: took a shot in the dark with this one and was pleasantly surprised, love the rich red malt character, very enjoyable
dark amber red in color, rich sweet toffee mostly caramelized red malt with pine hops to slight balance, rich red malt palate, heavy sugar, fruits, relate to aromas, sweet malts, mild hops, med carb
