Very clear hazel liquid. It was warmer than the rest, which did not detract from the experience as it was much less sweet than the previous offerings I had sampled. The waiter stated that it was only just released. Quite dry and nutty with admirable cidery fruits. The hops are in check, yet they lend a very pleasant caky pepper dimension. Quite good!

Wow. A real winner from these guys. Deep reddish amber with a creamy white (cream as in the color) head. A very light malty, biscuity aroma. Kind of that muddled, bland, lager-ish feel in the nose. Near perfectly balanced though. A great malt sweetness reminiscent of Hacker-Pschorr's Oktoberfest beer. Perhaps not 100% authentic, but more so than other locals. Finishes with a perfect amount of German hops that hardly overpower but definitely cut the sweets a bit. Nice carbonation, a real lively mouthfeel. A really solid fall seasonal brew.
