Deep, dark brown/black with a creamy tan head. The lacing on this is just awesome. As you sip it, it really clings to every inch of the side of the glass, forming this tightly knit styrofoam-like weave. Very cool.
Aroma is a little faint and watery -- light roasties, mostly. Minor hints of chocolate. Flavor is surprisingly far more intense. Slightly sweet with subtle bittersweet chocolate notes and raisinets in the middle. Mildly bitter finish.
Quite tasty even though it went down a bit harshly as it warmed up a bit more.
