Dark brown with hints of red, and a solid beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee and burnt toast, real thin on the hops. The flavor is bitter then malty, sweet toffee and roasted. The finish is okay quick and thin. Overall, not a bad robust porter, a good example of the style, but not overly exciting (i'll order the IPA next time). This could use a little more malt finish to make it more drinkable.
