With nothing else to go on I'm adding this as a Belgian Pale Ale, though, except for the evidently modest alcohol percentage, I'd have pegged it as a Tripel. A beautiful, penetrating paint of foam survives time, sun and wind to the bottom of the yellow drink. Raw and roasted nuts are accompanied by vanilla and dry, seedy resins which leave dense, bitter sensations on the finish. The texture is creamy and very light. Repeated study brings out notes of cocoa, and blanched almonds. This beer and the Oktoberfest both avoided the pitfall of excessive sweetness displayed in the other beers from this establishment. This is an excellent "whatchacallit"!
