Cruising along at 65 mph, top down, juicy hops riding shotgun, oats and wheat in the back, and a squashed squirrel on the bumper, this is the flavour-mobile and its number plate reads R0ADK1LL. Put your foot down, enjoy the sunshine haze and leave smooth tire tracks all over your tongue.

Zesty but way milder and more drinkable than it's marketed as being. Hazy yellow-amber colour in glass, Classic decent NEIPA but marketing is off.

16iz can from Sainsburys. Hazy yellow golden pour, small foamy white head. Weak citrusy aroma. Taste is citrusy and zesty, pale malts. Not a ton of flavor, all around light feel.

A: Very hazy orange/amber. Tiny bubbles.

S: Citrus and tropical fruits, yeast, a touch of funk.

T: Surprisingly well mannered. Citrus fruit driven but also yeast, tropical fruit, hops. Quite dry. Doesn't taste as strong as it is.

M: Good body, quite bitter especially in the finish.

O: Better behaved than I expected from the packaging. It's actually quite refined and enjoyable. More of an educated squirrel than a mad one.

440ml can.
L: Hazy, pale orange with a big, fluffy, open-bubbled head that collapses immediately to leave a few lumps and clumps.
S: Lemon rind with some zest to give some zip.
T: Follows the nose plus a heft of yeast and fresh pine and a hint of sulphur.
F: Light body with some carbonation and moderate/light bitterness.
O: It’s a NEIPA but on the chalky, yeasty (almost eggy) side. Some earthiness but not dank. Maybe a little thin. It’s ok but not worth the 6.5% ABV.

A 440ml can with a BB of June 2019. Purchased a little while back from Cost Cutter. Described on the label as an opaque IPA; the ingredients include oats and wheat.

A: Poured into an IPA glass. Can-conditioned and seriously hazy. A rich amber hue with tons of fine suspended sediment and plentiful carbonation. Produces a huge head of creamy white foam with good retention; this slowly reduces to a persistent surface layer. Nice lacing.

S: Aroma of bright, fruity hops with hints of citrus zest, grapefruit, peel, mild melon, subtle tropical fruit, white grape, earthiness, yeast and faint malt. Nice, if lacking in intensity.

T: Tastes of sharp, fruity hops with notes of citrus zest, grapefruit, peel, mild tropical fruit, a touch of white grape, subtle leafiness, earthiness, yeast and light malt. Very dry, followed by an understated hoppy bitterness upon swallowing.

M: Mouthfeel is smooth, tingly and dry, with lively carbonation and good body for the style. Somewhat astringent; dries the palate. Aftertaste of fruity hops, citrus, mild bitterness, earthy yeast and pale malt.

O: Rather nice. Looks the part, while the aroma and flavour are seriously fruity; citrus-laden hops layered over earthy yeast and subtle malt. Good body. An odd discordant aftertaste initially but this fades. A solid effort; worth sampling if you have the chance.
