WTF? A bottled beer, from the captain of the canquest, woodychandler? Rare, but true. Poured from a brown 12 oz. bottle. Has a hazy, burnt orange color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is mild, malty. Taste is malt forward, mild, light bitterness, an unpleasant aftertaste, is that band aid? Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is mediocre at best.

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle. No date noted but it is an Autumn 2018 release. Sampled on October 12, 2018.
It pours a lighter amber-yellow color with a big, foamy white head and a cloudy appearance. Nearly opaque.
The aroma brings out a kind of melon or cantaloupe character at the start with a mellower white bread crustiness.
Medium and smooth body.
A mil malty sweetness in the taste that is quickly overtaken by the fruity character and then a mild to moderate semi-dry bitterness that lingers at the end. Above average.
