A very nice beer. Excellent hopping magnetically pulls this beer into your body. Body a tad too heavy to compete with Plsner Urquell (the ideal). Yet a great example of an American Pils. Thanks, Pugsley!

From the 12 fl. oz. can stamped B219-1322:43. Sampled on July 7, 2019.
It has the appearance of golden-yellow with a moderate, white head that fades slowly. Good clarity.
The aroma emits a traditional barley grain breadiness and yes, as promised, a little bit of black pepper in the mix. Also floral and pine notes.
Smooth, medium mouthfeel.
The taste is sweet at first with an evolving floral or blossom sensation. It ends crisp and clean and it is very easy drinking all around.

Like the fact more brewer's are starting to focus on lagers. Unfortunately for them this style of beer is what separates the true brewer's from weekend warriors.
Shipyard rolled out a lite IPA basically there is little to no balance, smell and look are achieve but give a false sense of the real deal.
