Very nice brown color with a short light caramel colord head. The aroma is sweet with a little hint of caramel. The taste is very sweet and malty with a hint of caramel. Really nice mouthfeel. This beer is pretty good. It is very drinkable and is definately worth the try. More people should drink this beer!

This is a fairly tame, mild take on the English brown ale style. Moderation and balance are the operative words here. Pours light honey brown, clear, minimal off white head and a smidge of lacing left behind. Meager nose of sweet malt and a bit of eartyness. Notes of mild toffee and nuts. Nothing too exciting, but still a smooth drinking and decent tasting sessioner.

12ozer bottle bought as a single from Villa Spirit Shoppe, Storrs, CT.
Poured into an imperial pint glass, formed a 1" beige head over the clear borwnish copper brew. Head is dense and lasting, with nice lacing. Aroma is sweet grain husks. Taste is medium grain sweetness, which closes with a slight hoppy bite, and leaves a nice husk memory in the mouth. Mouthfeel and drinkability are both very good, very smooth, and a session beer just waiting for an occasion. Nice one.
