Bottled and picked up at bargain supermarket B&Ms meant to bridge the gap from pils to bitter
Golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Malty with a nice hoppy touich and a shy fruity background.

500ml brown bottle: BBD 31 Aug 14, poured into a Leffe badged chalice (twice) at home on 22 Oct 13.
Deep golden, clear and bright, strong Lager-like in looks, thin white head.
Very little aroma: gets a 3 for hints of pale malt biscuits.
The taste is fairly thin, like the body: some mild, semi-sweet maltiness at first with a drying hop finish that gives a little bitterness too. Overall a bit bland and boring.
Not too sure what they wanted or expected from this brew: It didn't do it for me anyway.
