Tried by half pint recently at the Market Porter, London.
A: pours a dark orangey straw hue, rather hazy (chill-haze?)... a fluffy off-white beer head sustains on the top.
S: Goldings' citric edge and a faint spicy+dried-grassy hints come with a little sulphur, while a tinge of "focused" honeyish maltiness stays in the background. Very light, not bad.
T: very good depth of citrus-zesty bitterness prevails on the palate, fast expanding to the deep ends of the sides of the tongue; a little floral (sweet osmanthus) aroma and flavour manisfests deep down the palate, adding a lingering and aromatic edge to the profoundly bitter and zesty aftertaste in the finish.
M&D: refreshing on the mouthfeel, very light-bodied Blond Ale/Bitter. Quaffable!
