Pours a hazy tea-and-orange with an extravagant fluffy head that abides. The aroma is faint, boozy, with tobacco, vanilla and, vaguely, tropical fruits. Taste: a discernible malt backbone with boatloads of bitter hops. Dried grass, or hay, tobacco, funky earth and grapefruit pith and a long, long, long bitter finish. Medium bodied, lightly carbonated and easy drinking. IMHO, Cyclope Delta is to a pale ale what an unfiltered Lucky is to a cigarette - ragged and harsh and deeply satisfying. It was gone all too quickly.

Cloudy blonde beer with a massive white head and some carbonation. Nice hoppy smell, grapefruits, watermelon, bananas, strawberries. Tastes similar to the smell, really fruity with a really good bitterness. Really nice carbonation in the mouth also. From all the "Cyclope" beers I've tried it may be my favorite so far.

A:
Pours a hazy honey color with a big fluffy off-white head that sticks around really well, you can take bites out of it. Very good retention; loads of lacing. (4.25)
S:
Bright citrus with hay. Grass, mint, guava, pith, hay. (3.75)
T:
Light tropical fruits, some creamy kind of sweetness, hay, herbal/piney shellac slowly rises in the finish. (4)
M:
Good active carbonation, medium body, resinous feel in the finish, dry, drinkable. (4)
O:
Very good IPA. Interesting if nothing else.
This is an IPA from Dunham with two hybrid hop varieties which I have never had before. Nice to try just for that, though it is a tasty enough beer on its own.
Pours nice with a tannish color and a huge foam head. The aroma is not quite there like it is in some IPAs, but once it warms a little it comes out better. Lemon, honey, hay, mint. The flavor is similar, but maybe a little more fruity. There is a pretty resinous character to the finish. It is drinkable, though it could be a little meatier-feeling for me.
I would have it again. These are different tasting hops and this is a different tasting IPA. I like that Dunham is starting to do beers like this with more frequency and more availability. (4.25)
