Another Canadian Brewery available in France, this one was given to me by a friend. Like the label and the wine wrapper top.
Opened it up and woah is this thing carbonated. A slow gusher that poured with a duvel style extreme carbonation that just kept overflowing.
By the time that I chopped the head of several times, probably a third of the beer went down the drain.
Other than that obvious issue it is a solid and straightforward enterpretation of the style. Very dry and carbonated, hides the alcohol well. Phenols, fruit, candied sugar, slick mouthfeel, it's all there. Pretty tasty tripel, would have enjoyed it more had it not been such a rabid carbonation...
