Dothan Brewing Company

Visited the place first week in May, 2006. The brewer, Wayne Wambles was not present but 3 of his beers were on tap. The beers were exceptional; I sampled all 3 and found the Pale Ale and the IPA to be worth the long drive from Pensacola. Wayne is a very accomplished brewer who got his start in Dothan years earlier at the now defunct Poplar Head Brewery a few blocks away. The place itself was not to my liking. It was loud and the plaster walls and ceiling only amplified the din from the jukebox. The food was ok but beer of this caliber deserves far better. Pack a lunch, eat in your car but be sure to get some of suds while you can
