While this seems to have a little Hefeweizen intent, there is not much of the German esters. It sure is sweet, however. Devoid of any hop flavors or bitterness, it's a pure malt experience. Banana bread taste with a lot of aromatics. Baked apples with Karo syrup comes to mind. Odd candy note.
Brief white head in the glass and lower than average carbonation in the mouth. A winey mouthfeel with hints of vermouth in the back of the throat. This is an interesting quaff if you like a big warm gush of wheaty malt. It seems to be in a world of its own. On tap at the brewery restaurant.
