A clear orange amber with minimal foam (by the time it got to me) though I'm sure there should have been more judging by the mouthfeel. A nice citrusy hop aroma a little deeper than the Sculler's but could have been a little more robust. Taste of tangerine and a light grapefruit with a smooth spicy finish. It's not overly hopped but plenty of pleasant hop taste. A nice sweet malt backbone compliment's the spicy sweet hop flavors and alcohol.
A pretty good DIPA that unfortunately was slightly ruined for me by the hugely foamy mouthfeel. If you try to hold it in your mouth to taste most of the flavors effervesce and disappear. Definitely worth a try though.
