This a specialty offering only available at the Island Creek Oyster Bar in Boston (Kenmore Square near Fenway Park). To quote the menu, "layered with love by Will Shelton. Batch #9.
Nearly no head or lace. Very cloudy, particularly for the style. Golden color with a touch of white.
Not much smell. More bitter than flowery.
Earthy flavor. The hop is peppery, not like most pilseners. Full bodied with a relatively low carbonation. Aftertaste is brief with a black pepper finish.
