This is a dark chocolate-colored colored brew with light cocoa colored foam. Some rounded edges with a stronger bourbon boozy flavor. I detect some toffee and a tobacco-leather nuance that wants to come across. Flavor lays it on thick, with some chew and a tacky finish. Unfortunately it’s uneven and off balance, a case of some good things but not enough and they don’t agree to work together for the good of the whole.
