Sustained, white head. Medium, amber/orange appearance. Pine and grapefruit peel, along with a caramelized, medium toasted barley malt foundation, for the aroma. A touch of sweetness at the outset of the taste. A not too biting, pine/grapefruit peel and floral note, co-mingle with the good amount of caramelized, medium toasted barley malt portion of this beer. Quite enjoyable.

This appears to be a new brew to replace the "Brewers Reserve" DIPA. It's hot, sweet, and hoppy. Big aroma of citrus. Flavors are papaya with a resiny finish. Plenty bitter in the aftertaste. Light malt taste with sturdy sweetness.
Quite lovely clear amber brew with plenty of foam in the fancy IPA glass. Pleasant beer to sip, hot and zingy with alcohol, but so nicely fruity. The dose of sugar balances all the hop power. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Elizabeth Station.
