16oz can (of course. Dated 9/9/20) poured into 14oz teku. Poured a very cloudy, but still with some translucence, dark yellow color with 2/3 inch of white head that had good retention and light lacing.

The aroma was hop forward, as the name would imply, mostly frooty hops, but some pine and sharp citrus. The aroma wasn't as sharp as i would have liked.

There was a bit more hop personality on the tongue, the citrus popped a bit more, but there was still no real grain or malt backbone.

The body was light, had good carb throughout, and a semi-dry finish.

Drinkability was fine, I'd had another if offered, but might not seek it out.

Overall, a solid and enjoyable that might push your buttons better than mine. Worth a shot if you see it.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a lightly hazy, medium golden amber with a one finger white head with great retention and solid lacing. Aroma of caramel malt, citrus hops, orange, mixed stone fruit and green melon. Flavor is pale malt with slight caramel, citrus and tropical fruit hops, orange, grapefruit, mixed tropical fruit with a little apricot and green melon. Flavor tapers off a little into the finish with some of the "soft" feel of dry hopped hazy IPAs. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. A solid West Coast style IPA that has a few elements of hazies; a little dialed back in bitterness in favor of mixed fruit flavors from the hops. Surprised at the mild caramel in the flavor because it was very dominant in the aroma. Good malt and interesting hop bill as expected from any IPAs that Chuck's collaborates on. Nice to revisit Old Schoolhouse too, a very solid local brewery.
