Handsome dark golden brown color with plenty of foam in the Einbecker Pilsner glass. Decent sudsy mouthfeel. A little caramel and grain in the nose.

Some malty sweetness, a little more substance than many Browns. Light hoppy note, but just enough bitter edge for the Brown Ale style. A wee hint of licorice and a variety of dark caramel flavors.

Quite pleasant and plenty drinkable. The malty flavor carries through to the finish and makes this a mellow quaff. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Haggen's Market in Mount Vernon.

Pours a thin head on a dark brown body.
The aroma is mostly roasted malt with some caramel in the background.
The taste tends towards a caramel sweet but stops short, a little watery, roasted malt in the middle. A little confused.
The texture is soft with moderate carbonation.
A pretty middle of the road brown ale.

Appearance: pours a clear brown color with a 1" head that slowly falls.

Smell: caramel and a brown sugar sweetness is detectable by the nose.

Taste: caramel, hints of chocolate, brown sugar, some earthiness, and a mild bitterness are the most detectable flavors.

Mouthfeel: medium bodied. Lightly crisp to start, smoother at the finish.

Overall: a basic brown ale with a decent flavor profile. You wont be blown away with this, but it is a sessionable ale.

Must be newly released in bottles, just got a case in my store.

Pours a deep amber color with a decent off white head. Nose has lots of dates and raisins with hints of caramel chocolate and underlying scent of coffee. Some of the hops come through as well but its barely noticeable.

Roasted malt sweetness up front with a pretty smooth mouthfeel. slightly slick on the swallow but the flavors all hold together quite well. Caramel coffee like sweetness up front followed by a bitter coffee finish.

Simple but not bad and decently priced. Pretty good roasted malt flavor.
