Quite unfiltered looking, as the label notes. Sudsy and sharp on the tongue, watery and refreshing body. Very fruit forward with a tangy finish. Flavors of green melon and orange. Overall this is a little on the murky side, and veers toward the acidic finish. Still, it's fruity and plenty drinkable and not overly bitter. From the 16 oz can purchased at the Mount Vernon co-op market.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a hazy, light to medium golden amber with a two finger white head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of pale malt, citrus and dank hops, lemon, grapefruit and green melon. Flavor is pale malt, citrus and dank hops, grapefruit, light canteloupe and melon, light pineapple. Light to moderate bitterness with citrusy finsih. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. A solid IPA that has the character of a hybrid between a Western IPA and the hazy NE style, with some good citrus hops, but also some softness and mixed fruit flavors as well. Fortunately for my taste, has a moderately bitter finish, although a bit dialed back. Flavor seems somewhat attenuated, but I'm guessing that's because I've been drinking fresh hops all week and my palate is spoiled. The moderate haziness here is appropriate for a fire fighter honoring IPA; the sky haze is slowly clearing up over Seattle from the nearby forest fires. Pleasant and refreshing and for a great cause.
