Poured from a 16 ounce undated can purchased from the taproom in Twist into an IPA glass at 49 degrees.
Look- Straw, very hazy, white creamy head, above average head retention and lacing.
Smell- Dank, pine resin, herbaceous, high strength of scent.
Taste- Pine resin, herbaceous, slight grapefruit, slight strawberry, high strength of flavor.
Feel- Medium body, average carbonation, mildly prickly, moderately bitter, mildly creamy, mildly dry finish.
Overall- This was an unfiltered fresh hop West Coast style IPA that delivered a tremendous drinking experience. The appearance was straw in color with above average head retention and lacing. The bouquet was extremely dank and resinous. The flavor was pine resiny and herbaceous with some slight grapefruit and strawberry notes. The feel was medium bodied with a mild amount of fresh hop prickliness. It finished with a slight dryness leaving me wanting my next sip.
