Served in 10oz goblet. Poured a lightly hazy, bright gold color with about 1/3 inch of white head that had moderate retention and decent lacing.
The aroma was mostly citrus hops, with a touch of pine. No malt scent. Same story on the tongue, some pine hops upfront, citrus through the middle, and lingered at the back of the palate.
The body was on the light side of average for the style, and had a nicely dry finish. Drinkability was pretty good, my glass was gone quickly. Overall, a nice little beer. Perhaps I'm spoiled by where I live, but this brew didn't really hit the expectations I had for it, given the very high quality level of the beers from both of these breweries. It's still worth a shot if you see it.
