Jet black. A tan head which dissipates with a nice lace. Roast nose with piney hop present - this is Washington!
A viscous mouthfeel. Huge sweet malts, a touch of chocolate, and that piney hop in back. The hops build and build to defining charachter. Long roast finish that keeps going...and going...and going. There is enough hops here to on the finish - it just took a while to fight thorugh the roast. Alcohol warmth present.
A good effort. Well made Imperial Stout that has it's own unique charachter.
