This wet hopped amber ale is surprisingly light on the hops, and on that front, is disappointing. Perhaps the restraint is to forgo the grassy elements that can corrupt fresh hopped beers. But the hop regimen is altogether too timid for a beer designed to showcase the merits of lupulus. The smell of moist green hop cones cannot be located.
Still, Harvest is a decent if undramatic ale. It is mostly clear with a frail malt sweetness and no carbonation or foam. But it lends nothing to the notion that it is actually a fresh hopped ale, so why bother?
