On tap at Snipes Mountain 5.20.

One finger pure white head over slightly hazy straw gold body, surprisingly clear for a Keller Beer, multiple streams of carbonation visible rising to surface. Malty nose, pilsener/vienna over breadiness, floral hops fairly prominent. Taste mirrors the nose. Mouthfeel is well on the light side of medium, good effervescence. Not the most memorable of beers but very sessionable, goes well with the quality grub at the brewpub. A good entry beer, but a bit light on character.

I had this beer on tap in a pint glass at the Naked City taphouse in Seattle.

Appearance: pale straw hue with a touch of haze. Head is minimal, but that is hardly unusual in a draft beer.

Smell: light, sweet, clean aroma with elements of malt and grain. Interesting, but rather low in intensity.

Taste: grainy rye flavor. There's a touch of grassy fields in with the grain, and the overall effect is very clean. Bitterness is low but pretty well balanced with sweetness. Simple, but quite good.

Mouthfeel: medium body with low carbonation. Despite this, it is not watery; the rye adds plenty of texture.

Overall: a decent beer and very drinkable. It's flavor profile is not precisely my cup of tea, but for an easy quaffer this isn't a bad choice.

Served in straight pint glass. Poured a slightly hazy yellow with a tall, fluffy, white head that had good retention and nice lacing.

The aroma was nicely grainy, with just the right amount of hops in the background. That could also describe the flavors. An excellent balance of grain and hops.

The body is crisp and sharp, without being harsh. Drinkability is wonderful, this would be a great lunch beer, if you have to work after lung, and is perhaps a perfect lawnmower beer.

Overall, a very nice beer, worth trying if you see it.
