Served in straight pint glass. Poured a nice orangeish-gold color, with just under an inch of white head that good retention and lacing.
A very crisp hop aroma greets the nose, citrusy with some pine, and a touch of malt sweetness. On the tongue, the pine noticeably was stronger than in the nose. The beer had a very solid malt foundation for the hops to cling to.
The body was good, full and well-rounded without being heavy being a steamroller. Drinkability was very good, having several of these would be a joy.
Overall, a better than average example of the style, worth seeking out.
