Served in bubble pint glass. Poured a clean, clear, brownish-red mahogany with about 1/2 inch of light beige head that had OK retention and lacing.
The aroma featured a slight bit of roast, had a good malt profile and carried some citrus hops through the nose. The taste was the same, just expanded and bolder. The hops seemed to be a bit stronger than the roasted tones.
The body seemed to be well on the thin side of typical of this new style. Drinkability was good and overall this was a decent example of a style that hasn't really grabbed my fancy. Worth trying if you see it.
