Served in nonic. Poured a nearly solid black, there was some brown translucence around the edges, and had about 1/4 inch of tan head that had very low retention and no lacing.
The aroma featured a light bit of roast and a noticeable chocolate scent. On the tongue, the roast dominated the front and middle, while the chocolate lingered at the back of the palate.
The body was decent, although a bit too thin for my tastes. Drinkability was good, I'll have it again, but I probably wouldn't have two in a row. Overall, a solid brew, one that's worth your time if you see it.
