12oz can poured into Duvel tulip. Picked up from grocery store as part of a $10 sixer mixer. 01/23/2022 B75 printed on bottom rim of can. You have to view it almost from the side to be able to made out the letters.
Appearance - Immediately foamed up when opening the can. That's weird. It's been sitting in the fridge untouched. It hasn't been shaken. Maybe it's infected or overcarbonated? Never seen something like this before. I'm hesitant. It poured a large offwhite, almost tan head. Had decent retention, and good stick. But I wasn't paying too much attention to it because I got distracted by how the can foamed. Body is a clear amber. Giving it a hesitant 3.75 so far.
Smell - Thankfully no off notes really. Mostly just earthy, cardboard, toffee. Mostly what I expect from the style. 3.75
Taste - I guess it's alright? I'm still a little weirded out by the foaming and that could be distracting me a lot, but otherwise I think it's decent. Nothing really off about it. Seems about right for the style, I suppose. 3.75
Mouthfeel - Medium to medium-full bodied. A little bit of acidic buildup in the finish. 3.75
Overall - Actually not that bad. Hope I don't get sick though. 3.75

On-tap at Monks' Corner Taproom, Albuquerque, NM
A: The beer is clear amber yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head.
S: Moderate aromas of pine are present in the nose along with strong notes of caramel malts.
T: The taste follows the smell and has flavors of pine and caramel malts.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I liked the balance between the caramel malts and piney hops in the taste of this beer.
Serving type: on-tap

Tasted as part of a tasting flight at the brewhouse.
Nice amber color with decent head. Good aromas and flavors expected for an American amber. An approachable and easy-drinking beer.

12 oz can. Pours clean deep amber with thick off white head, great retention, bubbly lace. Mild earthy bready aroma. Taste is toasty bread, but ends with a mineraly flavor that leaves an odd after taste. Thin slick mouthfeel.

A- Darker copper body, half finger white head, fair amount of film, not much lacing.
S- Minerals, yeast, a bit of toffee, earth, a bit of pine.
F- Not terribly complex, mostly with a mild pine bitterness and a bit of toffee, even a bit of that crackery pilsner character.
M- Medium-thin bodied, carbonation a bit low for the style, a bit astringent on the backend.
O- Weird beer that doesn't seem to deliver anything in particular, it almost seems to try too much and gets stretched out in all departments. Still a decent beer.
