Served in a shaker at Canteen Brewhouse.
A- Cloudy orange, amber and golden mix. Lacy, frothy khaki-colored head. 4.5
S- Orange and grapefruit meet sweet vanilla malt. Reminds me of a creamsicle. A bit of dank weed aroma too. 4.25
T- Less citrus than the nose, but still has some sweet orange that blends with the hefty malt flavor. Dank floral hops hit mid-palate before grapefruit zest carries this one out. 4.25
M- Hefty feeling. Definitely a lot of malt and sweetness, but it's clearly to offset the bold bitterness that lingers dry on the tongue. 4.25
This is well-done. Take the 2015 National IPA champ and the runner-up, both from Albuquerque, they combine and create this quality. Excellent.
