Smoked Oat Porter

Initial impression with appearance was positive, dark brown almost black with a nice mocha head. Once the head receded though I could see a layer of translucency on the surface. I could see my fingers through the beer on the other side of the glass. Aroma was decent; smoke, caramel, cream, earthy hops. Flavor was extremely disappointing, that watered down appearance rearing its ugly head in the flavor department as well. Flavor was smoky and bitter and nothing else. The oatmeal porter/stout component to this beer was MIA, watery. Medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, huge disappointment. Didn't finish my pint.
