Pours a deep, dark brown verging on black with almost no head. What head is there is mocha. No lacing. Aroma is hazelnut, coffee, dark chocolate, milk chocolate. Really nice and unexpected based on initial assumptions from the appearance. Flavor follows suit. Mouthfeel is a huge, huge, huge deterrent; medium bodied, hints of some creaminess but flat and syrupy. No depth. Overall, I really liked this beer but if the mouthfeel had any positive value I would have loved it.
