Had on tap. More or less clear dark amber pour with a beige colored head. Dank hops sit atop amber malts with hints of earth for the smell. Taste is much sweeter with the malts, hops contrast on the finish but seems out of place in the style, really no nuance besides these two extremes. Feel is medium bodied, smooth, but carb is low for style, adding weight over time on the palate. Simple and has some flaws, but fine for the right occasion I guess

Nice head. A bit on the sour side.

Their Irish red has a dark blood orange-ruby red tint to it, with some tightly laced foam atop. The aroma is lightly dank and interesting, with a rounded flavor highlighted by a pleasing malt that comes across to balance the bitterness. Fizzy, foamy, and finishes quickly. I wanted more linger flavor on the end.

How about an Irish IPA? Same big fragrant hoppy overdose as the Wet Mountain IPA. So sue me, but call it what they like it's no way an Irish anything. Coppery amber in the pint glass, served at cellar temperature for some reason. Thin body, not much carbonation. Hops keep getting bolder as you sip. Bitterness gradually overwhelms the original hint of malt. Nose is very nice and rich, but again it's an IPA hoppy, flowery, powerhouse aroma.
