A softer version of a typical Porter; flavors of creamy wheat, sweet oats, notes of coffee, and hop bitterness for an easy finish.

Served from the tap in a small nonic glass at the brewpub.
My third voyage begins following Denmark's defeat of Czechia in the Euro Cup. This stuff pours a mostly clear midnight garnet topped by a finger of glowing off-white foam. The nose comprises instant coffee, cocoa powder, a touch of roasted malts, and the vague sense of dark greenery pervading the background. The taste brings in more of the same, the greens stronger now, and with a strange, unidentifiable bitterness poking its head it with a nasty rejoinder every now and again. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a liquid feel. Overall, a pretty mediocre porter, but one that I could still drink if I absolutely had to.

Had on tap at Stockholm's. A little rough around the edges. Flavors of chocolate and dark malts with some earthy hops, but there is a strong anise flavor that takes away from the overall experience.

Sampled today, review from notes. Murky mahoghany, light gets through it, more brown than black. Plain malt and grain smell. Lactic tartness and cherry pit that seems more like a sour brown ale than a porter. Dry finish, watery with moderate carbonation. This definitely seemed like an infected homebrew rather than and intentionally sour ale. As much as I love sour stuff, this was just too weird to be a porter.

Picked up a one liter, swing top bottle last week of Doc's Porter.
Pours a black to very dark brown with hazey garnet highlights, sediment at the bottom, and no head or lacing at all. Soft coffee and cheap cocoa aromas mix ith some very faint roasted malts. The taste with this as well as all there other beers, there was a tart flavor similarity in all of their beers. Starts with some faint roasted malts resembling coffee grounds and burnt currants. Pretty bland porter with a chalky texture. Not very sessionable.
