Raspberries are added to provide a refreshing tart flavor with the creaminess of a white wheat ale.

Served from the tap in a small nonic glass at the brewpub.
The second voyage begins in earnest with the raspberry version of the wit. It pours a hazy brass-amber topped by a finger of lightly off-whte foam. The nose comprises comprises plastic raspberry, light biscuit, and a touch of orange zest. The taste brings in more of the same, some cracked wheat helping to balance out some of the artificial-tasting raspberry character, keeping things from going too far sideways. The body is a rather light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a liquid feel. Overall, a bit of a ruination of one of the better beers here, the raspberry is just too plastic to work, and there's too much raspberry to ignore.
