Served from the tap in a small nonic glass at the brewpub.
Take that, India: you're not the only geographic area with its own named pale ale. Geneva represent? Anyway, this stuff pours a clear brass-amber topped by a finger of dirty white foam. The nose comprises light caramel, mossy greens, and a hint of candied orange peel. The taste generally brings in more of the same, but with all of the elements sloppily combined in a blender, removing most of their distinctive flavors. The body is a rather light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a liquid feel. Overall, a very bog-standard pale, one that seems to try so hard to be non-descript that it barely exists at all.
