Served from the tap in a small nonic glass at the brewpub.
Beginning my Stockholm's journey in earnest with he Czech (as far as the menu says) pils. It pours a clear brass topped by a finger of lightly off-white foam. The nose comprises mild cereal grains, light flowers, a twinge of grass, and a tiny twist of lemon. The taste brings in more of the same, everything blending together rather well and almost approximating a true Czech styling. The body is a hefty light, with a light moderate carbonation and a nigh-on creamy feel. Overall, an actually decent pils, one that shies a bit away from the sharper hop characters, but one that goes down very easily regardless.
