Enjoyed a pint of this Belgian style blonde ale in the Pot Still on Hope street, Glasgow on a very hot night in June 2006.
The pint poured a light blonde colour with a good creamy head that displayed good retention throughout the duration of the pint leaving rings on the glass as it emptied.
The nose was dominated by malts with a fresh smell of wheat and a faint hint of citrus fruits. These followed through to the taste where again it was dominated by hops with an afteretaste of wheat and a slight kick of citrus fruit, this time more evident than in the fragrence.
This light beer had a surprisingly good body and was both enjoyable and refreshing at the same time, a rare commodity in a light beer (too many are watery). I continued on this beer until I left the bar.
