Nice Bockbier Dunkel, a dark bock which is very mainstream. Strong malt, notes of roasted nuts, caramel and spice. Laid back hop, not overly heavy at 7% ABV. If you like Bock and if you like dark beers, you will enjoy this.

Poured from just under fridge temp. Pours a bubbly dark color with quickly dissipating head. Nose is roasted malts, toffee, nuts, bread, and a touch of dark fruit. Taste is nice and smooth. Not a ton of sweetness or bitterness. Nice toffee, marshmallows over the campfire, and some nutty bread. The roasted malts are nicely present. Mouthfeel is medium bodied. Overall, a nice bock.

Bottle at home, yet another kindl goes in the sink. Bown/mogany color, ugly offwhite head that dissipates pretty quickly; smell is caramel, toffee; tastes like chicken soup mixed with toffee, needs more bitternes and way more body. Personally couldnt finish the 500ml bottle

There are much better German bocks out there. Almost undrinkable.

Appearance: Dark chestnut; cream colored, big head
Aroma: Malty; dried fruit
Taste: Sweet, malty, creamy start with a semi sweet, slightly bitter finish; not complex, but drinkable
Remarks: Probably a good session beer
Did not score A, T, S, M at that time; disregard those scores
