Pours black with a light tan head.
Loads of coffee in the aroma, very rich, but with a faint hint of old grounds. Little else detectable underneath that.
Same story with the flavours - the base beer is too weak to contend the with the overt coffee flavours.
Body feels a bit watery.
Despite being perfectly enjoyable I can't help but think how much better this would be if the base beer had a little more guts.
