Good clear amber colour with a small but persistent off-white head. Very good lacing and visibly effervescent.
Slightly spicy, earthy hop character with just a hint of citrus flavour. They seem to be Kiwi hops but what they are is a mystery. Light malt character as well.
Interesting flavour. It is well balanced between the clean maltiness and the moderate bitterness but the flavour is slightly herbal and has notes of the Manuka used in Captain Cooker.
Medium body with moderately high carbonation.
A decent drop with some similarities to a Marzen but the herbal flavour is off-putting and overwhelms the beer.
