Pours an amber colour, with a very slight redwood tinge. Very mild cloud to it. Head is beige in colour, dense and creamy texture. Sits thick on the top and stays looking thick on the top. Just gorgeous.

Malty sweet on the nose, but a wonderful hoppy tang that builds up. Citric, tangy and piney. So inviting, like a scantily-dressed grandmother with a tray of fresh cupcakes. Mmmm.

Again, sweet on the palate. Plenty of caramel malt upfront before it gives way to a spicy and hoppy mid-to-late, with US hop characters. Citrus comes through quite late and plenty of pineapple and wood resin as well. Not that big and complex, but otherwise very pleasant flavours.

Body is thick, foamy, beautiful.

Lovely amber ale. Big, tasty, and lovely.

Pours a very hazy and very dark amber/copper color with golden orange edges and a two finger off-white head.  Excellent retention, only slowly fading into lasting ring.  Spotty lacing left behind.

Floral hop aroma with some grassy pine and faint citrus fruit notes.   There's also some lactic cream and a strong caramel malt backbone with hints of chocolate, bread toffee and biscuit.  Takes away from the hops a bit to much for my preference.

Medium bodied with a dry, earthy hop presence that lingers over the sweet malt notes into a very dry finish.  Very dry, earthy and bitter with little else to counter things.  Needs some citrus or some kind of hop sweetness.  Just dry, dirty, soily hops followed by bread, lactic dream and some sweet malt.  Hints of caramel and toffee followed by faint booze and a lingering dry finish.  Not very pleasant.

Pours dark amber with a large, fading head.
Nose shows herbal and earthy hops, spicy notes and prominent caramel, brown sugar and bready malt.
Similar flavours, but the hops seem to take over. Big spicy, herbal and piny notes, along with a peppery note. Pretty full-on bitterness. Some alcohol shows too.
Carbonation is a little full on.
