Dark brown pour with mocha head. Aroma has intense wood notes and dark sugar. Also some dried figs. Taste is very well balanced. At first you get the dried dark fruits and in the end it gets really roasty and bitter. Body is medium with low carbonation. Overall it's a nice imperial stout, especially the woody aroma, but the mouthfeel could be a bit better.

Mommy! Good. Real good! Bought this in Rome.
Appearance, coffee black with thin Carmel head.
Smell. I'm not as good at isolating scents. Alcohol smell is strong. But the other fragrance draws me in... Excited for my first sip.
Mouth feel. Tiny little effervescent bubbles tickle and sting your tongue. Not thick but not thin. Wish it was a little creamier feel. But good.
Taste. The best part! Chocolate. Coffee. Anise. Kiwi. Pomegranate. Dark wheat bread crust.
Overall. I would love to share this with my friends. Wish I could buy this in the states.

Bottle at Mondiale 2013.
Dark brownish with some deeper red hues, beige-ish head. Nose is woody, caramel, nutty, chocolate and mild roast. Taste has chocolate, caramel, nuts, dark fruits and more roast quality. Medium heft to the body, and lower carbonation. Moderate alcohol. Not bad.
