2008 vintage.
Bright red color, a quite scarce and almost evanescent beige foam.
Intense smell. It can remember the Rodenbach Gran Cru a lot. Fruit, wood, vinous note, a lot of red fruitiness. And a good acetic note. Really good.
A bit more quiet in the taste, more soft and less aggressive, but still good. Again fruit and wood, vanilla, acetic and red fruit.
Just, maybe, a bit too soft and short finish.
Anyway, really good.

Thanks to Manuele’s generosity at Makke! Pour is burnt caramel in color with a thin large bubbly tan head. Nose is oaky and vinous, sweet berries in the noes with notes of alcohol in back. Taste is a bit less oaky and more red wine characteristics with plenty of berries and dark grapes. Mild malt presence leaning towards the sweet fruity side and a tinge of heat in the finish. Medium body, soft and smooth with an assertive carbonation and crisp finish.

Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle. 2008 vintage.
The beer pours an orange color with a white head. The aroma is a nice mic of tart cherries and apples, with some biscuit malt thrown in. The flavor is similar. I get cherries and leather, as well as some toffee and a light amount of tartness. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
