Draft a Open Baladin Roma in Rome, Italy.
Pours a hazy, dark golden orange color with a yellowish head and a two finger frothy, pillowy head. Great retention, slowly fading to a lasting ring that leaves streaky lacing behind.
Very string citrus aroma that's just bursting with tropical and citrus notes. Tons of orange peel and grapefruit along with bready yeast, zesty spice and subtle banana character.
Medium bodied with strong bready yeast and banana flavors. Decent amount of citrus but nowhere near as prominent as the nose suggests. Subtle peppery spices with hints of coriander and clove. Pretty refreshing but not as complex as the nose would have you believe. A bit dominated by bread and banana but still enjoyable.
