This place is off a side street near the centro of Prato. Prato isn't the best town in Italy, so you'll probably (hopefully) never have to visit. We showed up at 630pm when it was supposed to open but it didn't open until 700. This was irritating because the alley that the entrance is in smells like garbage.
Inside, the place is nice. Wood finish, brewing equipment (small) behind glass with a UV lamp. Service is typically Italy & crappy. The beer is quite good. I tried: Fra Bartolomeo (Weizen) which was nicely tart and a good weizen. Pepin lager had a good foamy head, a bit too sweet. Martellina honey strong ale has a light mouthfeel with a strong sense of honey and a good bitter aftertaste.
We had some chips and salsa which were 2 euro. There is a happy hour too with reduced beer prices. It'd be a good value without this though.
Too bad a place like this is in a town like Prato.
